Board Focus

From Washington to Water, and from 1st Ave to 3rd Ave, here’s are some of the things we are doing to accomplish those goals in our focus area, and what we are bringing to you, the citizens of Stayton and the surrounding areas-

Design projects for downtown: Murals, public art, benches, the parklet, etc

Beautification improvement projects: Sign toppers, Main Street Revitalization Grant for Facade Improvement

Community Events: Stayton’s Ghost Tours and Chocolate Walk, Stayton’s Holiday Kickoff and Tree Lighting, Friday Nite Concerts, Walk of Hearts in Downtown

Working to better communicate with business owners, other organizations, and the public at large about our goals and needs.

To accomplish this, we are working with the Main Street America model and with Main Street Oregon to get there.

The Main Street America Approach is a time-tested framework for community-driven, comprehensive revitalization. With a focus for each point of the Main Street Approach, RDS is applying strategy and planning to breathe fresh life into a charming historic space.
